Designer Crafter Crocheter

My Caricature
Hello,
I have been crafting and crocheting for more than 30 years. I started when I was a little girl and learned from my mom who was my inspiration and my best friend. She was a seamstress and an experienced crocheter and knitter. I was a trainer and teacher and enjoy teaching crochet.

I grew up in upstate New York State and moved to Southern California in my early twenties. My family plays a very important role in my life! I am married, a mom of two, and a grandma of three.

I love to design and embellish my projects. I have been published in Crochet a Day's calendar and have won many ribbons at the LA County Fair. I also am the leader of a LYG and enjoy "Yarn Crawls" along with the social and friendships benefits of the members.

I am the "Queen" of a local Red Hat's group and have fun in my purple and red going on trips, luncheons, and parties. I love being a Red Hat gal!!

I was crowned Queen of the "Social Butterflies"
Sometimes, I get inspired by surfing the Internet and reading crochet and crafting books and magazines. I love to look at an object and turn it into an artistic crocheted item. One of my favorite pass times is to read and I am inspired by Debbie Macomber's books and admire her many talents.

You may know me as one of my many other online names, DaBookLady or
DaCraftyLady. I have several blogs and enjoy visiting with my online
friends.

As a crafter I love to browse through craft stores, craft fairs,  and LYS but mostly I love to admire friends finished projects and learn from the multitude of talents in my own LYG.

I am blessed with a very loving family and wonderful friends. I do hope that you enjoy my work and if you have any questions, please contact me.
